  • Front of House Supervisor - The Grainary

    📍 Between Scarborough & Whitby - YO13 0DT
    💰 £13.00 per hour + substantial tips
    🕐 Full-time hours available - mainly evenings and weekends

    We’re looking for a confident, friendly, and capable Front of House Supervisor to join our team at The Grainary – a small boutique B&B and restaurant set on a beautiful working farm.

    This is a hands-on role in a close-knit, family-run business, perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in great service, and is comfortable working independently.

    About the Role
    As Front of House Supervisor, you’ll be the face of The Grainary. With a small team, you’ll often be running the front of house on your own, so confidence, initiative, and strong organisational skills are essential. Various hours, but mainly evening shifts which are from 15:00 until close. Both weekdays and weekends.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcoming guests and managing check-ins/check-outs

    • Providing warm, attentive front of house service

    • Serving food and drinks, including bar service

    • Handling guest queries and resolving any issues professionally

    • Ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation across the B&B and restaurant

    • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

    What We’re Looking For

    • Previous experience in front of house and bar service (essential)

    • Ability to multi-task and work independently

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    • A positive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail

    • Someone who thrives in a small, dynamic environment

  • Kitchen Porter - The Falcon

    📍 Near Scarborough & Whitby - YO13 0DY
    💰 £12.30 per hour + substantial tips
    🕐 Variety of shifts

    We are looking for Kitchen Porters to join our lovely team to clean our kitchen and support our chefs. We have a variety of shifts on offer, including evenings and weekends so could work around college or another job.

    Kitchen Porters responsibilities include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas and occasionally helping with food prep work.

    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

    Pay: £12.30 per hour plus tips

    Must be over 16years of age
